Japan and Canada

Japan has unique styles in houses, for example, kawara, tatami, and shoji.

Kawara is on the roof, and it has wavy shape.
Tatami is one of the carpets, and it is traditional. In the past, it was used as beds.
Shoji is Japanese traditional door.Japanese paper is used as a part of it, and we can get sunshine.

I think the biggest difference of buildings between Japan and Canada is bathrooms.
We separate the bathtabs and the toilets in Japan, but in Canada, they are in the same space.
It is uncommon in Japan.

  1. This is an interesting post. I want to have a japanese toilet in my house. Some people do, but they are a little expensive.
